How to join SECOT

SECOT offers four categories of membership. The members of SECOT contribute in different ways to support the activities of the association to accomplish its social objectives.

FULL MEMBERS

The seniors are SECOT's full members. They are professionals who have retired or are in early retirement, and wish to offer their experience to young entrepreneurs, small and medium sized companies in difficulties, non-profit organizations, institutions in developing countries, and others. Their aim is to contribute to the development of the economy and to struggle against poverty and unemployment and against the social and economic imbalance among regions. They contribute to SECOT's overheads with an annual fee of euro 18.

PATRONS

These are companies or public and private institutions which, by contributing with a fixed annual amount, provide a decisive funding to cover the activities of the association and SECOT's overheads. This contribution can be deducted from the company's taxes; in compensation, SECOT will include an acknowledgement of such contributions from patrons in all printed material, web page and any events organized by the association. More over, the patrons are offered to use SECOT's experience and assistance on subjects such as preparation for retirement or other programs directed to their employees, elaboration of studies, reports, etc...

JOINT MEMBERS

These are active individuals -businessmen or professionals- who perform their activity in the enterprise or banking sectors. Teir direct and daily contact with the economic reality of our country provides a valuable contribution for a greater efficiency and dynamism on SECOT's activities as well as on the decision making process by its governing bodies, thus contributing to the promotion and development of the association. They participate with an annual fee of euro 60.

COLLABORATORS

Institutions, associations, foundations, public entities, individuals or companies which provide free services to the association, consulting or pro-bono work, frequently opening doors of official departments or institutions of interest to carry out SECOT's activities. They are free to contribute or not with an annual fee; if they do they can enjoy a tax exemption, which will also apply to any donation or contribution to the association.
